  • CSM Certification Course Description

    Learning Tree's Certified Scrum Master Certification training course includes 13 hours of instructor-led training (ILT) presented by a CST. During the course, you acquire the specific skills, behaviors and the mindset necessary to become a successful Certified ScrumMaster and servant-leader. Through training, practice sessions and role-playing activities, you learn Scrum to create customer satisfaction with the continuous delivery of high-value software.

  • Who Should Attend this CSM Training Course

    This course has the highest value for practicing ScrumMasters, but can also be useful to Product Owners, members of Scrum Development teams, managers, Human Resource (HR) specialists and anyone else who needs to appreciate the role and competencies required of a ScrumMaster.

  • Course Preparation

    • The Scrum Guide will be emailed to students for pre-course reading.
    • A Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) leads this course. In-person, on-time attendance, and full participation is expected. While emergencies are understandable, being fully present for the full two days is a requirement for the CST to recommend you to the Scrum Alliance for certification.

    The Certified Scrum Master Certification is valid for 2 years. Beginning Feb 2019, renewal requirements include obtaining 20 Scrum Education Units and a $100 renewal fee. More information about how to earn SEUs requirements can be found here.

We are excited that Learning Tree now offers a deferred direct bill payment option for Booz Allen employees. The deferred direct bill payment option enables employees to enroll in learning opportunities with no upfront costs. This payment option will require the employee to sign a Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) agreement with Learning Tree to release grades/completion to Booz Allen to satisfy the FlexEd Program completion requirement. Note, Learning Tree may also be used for the FlexEd Program reimbursement payment option.
