Successful projects rely on comprehensive integrated management principles, tools and techniques. In this FAC-P/PM EVM certification course, you gain the practical skills to coordinate the development of, oversee, evaluate and critique an EVM program linked to risk management. You also learn to apply planning, programming and budgeting best practices.

Learning Tree’s FAC-P/PM training has been fully verified by the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI).

You Will Learn How To:

  • Direct and manage the application of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to federal projects
  • Integrate technical, cost and schedule performance measurements
  • Oversee the program cost-estimating and budget process
  • Institute EVM baselines and interpret EVM performance trends 

  • Manage the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) process

  • Requirements

    • Four years of program or project management experience, which shall include a minimum of one year of experience on Federal programs and projects, within the last ten years

  • FAC-P/PM Certification Information

    • All Federal employees (non DoD) who work in a Program/Project Management role are required to be FAC-P/PM certified. Private industry/contractors are eligible to attend FAC-P/PM training, but are not eligible to become certified.
    • FAC-P/PM certification is awarded at the agency level and requirements vary by agency. Check with your Acquisition Career Manager (ACM) for information on certification requirements.

The deferred direct bill payment option enables employees to enroll in learning opportunities with no upfront costs. This payment option will require the employee to sign a Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) agreement with Learning Tree to release grades/completion to Booz Allen to satisfy the FlexEd Program completion requirement. Note, Learning Tree may also be used for the FlexEd Program reimbursement payment option.
