This CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) training course will prepare you to successfully achieve this in-demand certification and teach you to assess, investigate, examine, and research potential security threats in your organization

In this certification training course, you will gain the foundational knowledge to fully prepare for the CASP+ exam (CAS-003). Earning CASP+ certification demonstrates your knowledge and skills in enterprise security, risk management, research and analysis, and the integration of computing, communications, and business disciplines.

Included in your course tuition is a voucher that enables you to take the CAS-003 exam at any Pearson VUE Test Center location.

You Will Learn How To:

  • Successfully prepare for the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) Certification Exam
  • Investigate enterprise storage requirements
  • Examine risk management security policies and procedures
  • Research potential threats and identify appropriate countermeasures
  • Evaluate collaboration methodologies for security communications

  • Requirements

    • CompTIA Security + Certification or equivalent experience
    • Ten years of IT administration experience, including at least five years of hands-on technical security experience

  • Exam Information

    • This course includes a voucher for the CompTIA Advanced Security+ (CAS-002) exam
    • Successfully completing the exam covers all of the established job designations for the IAT-3, IAM-2, IASAE-1, and IASAE-2, as set forth in the DoD Directive 8570.01

  • Certification Information

    • To earn this certification, you must take and pass CompTIA exam CAS-002
    • You must earn 75 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) over a three-year period to maintain CASP+ certification

The deferred direct bill payment option enables employees to enroll in learning opportunities with no upfront costs. This payment option will require the employee to sign a Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) agreement with Learning Tree to release grades/completion to Booz Allen to satisfy the FlexEd Program completion requirement.
