If you are a Business Analyst working in Agile projects, this ICAgile accredited course will help you understand how to operate in an Agile environment so that you are better equipped to deliver value to your organization. As an Agile Business Analyst you will learn how to build the right products, for the right customers, at the right time while reducing waste.

You Will Learn How To:

  • The responsibilities for product ownership and where the Business Analyst can contribute 
  • The role of the Business Analyst in Agile software teams 
  • How lightweight modelling techniques are used in Agile 
  • How to derive user stories from analysis models such as process models, class diagrams, state transition diagrams and other tools of the analysis trade 
  • How to integrate requirements management into an Agile software development process 
  • And utilise guidelines and practices for designing and deploying an effective Agile business analysis process

  • Prerequisites:

    • This course builds on your existing knowledge of both Agile and business analysis - you need to have a good understanding and experience in both to get the maximum benefit from attending this course. The skills you will need are covered in our Agile Fundamentals course.

  • Certification:

    • Scrum Alliance: This course has been approved for Continued Education Units (SEUs). Sign in to your Scrum Alliance account and add 1 SEU (on your Dashboard, under "Manage SEUs") for each hour of in-class time under Category B.5. If you do not have a Scrum Alliance account, contact Learning Tree and we will register you for your credits.
    • ICAgile accredited course: The ICP-BVA Certification from ICAgile, is granted on the successful completion of this course and passing the Learning Tree exam.

We are excited that Learning Tree now offers a deferred direct bill payment option for Booz Allen employees. The deferred direct bill payment option enables employees to enroll in learning opportunities with no upfront costs. This payment option will require the employee to sign a Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) agreement with Learning Tree to release grades/completion to Booz Allen to satisfy the FlexEd Program completion requirement.
